Our clients fly to Vancouver B.C. (YVR) and at that time have a choice of either catching a short connector flight to Vancouver island or renting a vehicle from there.

If you wish to fly, KD AIR flies to Qualicum Beach where a KD Air representative will shuttle you over to your final destination of Port Alberni.

If you wish to rent a vehicle and drive, you can rent a vehicle from YVR , catch a very scenic two hour ride on BC Ferries to Vancouver Island, followed by an hour drive through some beautiful country to your final destination of Port Alberni B.C. where myself or one of our guides will meet you.

If your flight times just don't work out and you must spend a night in Vancouver, the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver Airport is a very convenient way to spend the night - they offer competitive outfitter rates and save you the hassle and dollars of a taxi. Please let the hotel staff know when reserving your room that you are hunting with Canadian Guide Outfitters Ltd, and also if you need any additional assistance such as a language interpeter, directions etc.

From Port Alberni, we will transport you to the lodge the evening before the hunt, having you ready to hunt the morning of Day 1.
